The England and Tottenham Hotspur goal machine didn’t enjoy the best of starts to the season last term.

Speculations over a potential but unsuccessful transfer to Manchester City weighted down seriously on the Spurs, who took a while to get going in terms of scoring goals.

Despite a slow start to the campaign, the 29-year-old was still able to score 17 goals in 37 league matches to help Tottenham clinch the precious 4th position on the log and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Kane is tipped as one of the favorites to end the 2022/2023 season as the highest goal scorer. The Englishman is also one of the footballers with the highest market value.

2. Cristiano Ronaldo

Since his return to Manchester United, Ronaldo has continued his goal-scoring exploits, finishing as the Red Devils’ top scorer with 18 goals in 30 matches.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough to help his club qualify for this season’s Champions League.

There have been growing rumours about the imminent departure of Cristiano from Old Trafford as the start of the season approaches, however, should he choose to stay, there’s no doubt that the 37-year-old marksman will continue to be in amidst the goals.
