The 2023/2024 Premier League season has been incredible so far, with a lot of surprise packages in different forms. From top to bottom, players across the twenty teams have been sensational.

Arsenal were very close to winning the title last season until they capitulated and allowed Manchester City to lift the trophy.

Nevertheless, the players who propelled them that far have managed to replicate that in the new season as the Gunners remain part of a three-horse race alongside Manchester City and Liverpool.

The latter duo have some of the best players in the league, with Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, Mohammed Salah, and others running riots despite various injuries.

Teams with outside chances have been doing well, too. Aston Villa were in the shout for the league title race previously, but they remain in a good place for a UCL finish.

Tottenham started the season in hot form under Ange Postecoglu, as Son Heung-Min and James Maddison have impressed.

Some others have proven to be a bargain buy last summer, with Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, Luton Town’s Ross Barkley and Arsenal’s Declan Rice enjoying their new homes.

Overall, who are the best players in the 2023/2024 Premier League season? Come with us as we attempt a list of the top 10 Premier League Players of the 2023/24 Season so far. Please note that this list is in no particular order and based on our opinions.

1. Declan Rice

Every single Premier League fan, rival, and enthusiast has agreed that Arsenal’s best buy in recent years is the English midfielder Declan Rice, who is the best bargain for any Premier League transfer this season.

The former West Ham United player showed his qualities with the Hammers last season, but a bigger stage and consistency at Emirates Stadium has made his Arsenal’s club-record £105m ($131m) signing a huge steal.

The intelligent midfielders has established his place as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world at the moment.

Rice has been cooking all over Arsenal’s midfield all season long with ball recoveries, passing range, and the ability to pop up with very crucial long-range goals when Arsenal needs them.

The 25-year-old has five assists and six goals in 28 Premier League games for the Gunners this season.

2. Cole Palmer

Pep Guardiola would probably be kicking himself for not being willing to give Cole Palmer more time and a chance to show his potential at Etihad.

However, the youngster took his destiny into his own hands and has been showing it for all to see.

Chelsea’s best buy this season and certainly the top three summer transfers overall in the league.

The 21-year-old has been immense for the Blues this season, taking penalty responsibilities and driving a rather disappointing team.

Palmer is tipped to be on the plane to the Euros in Germany by summer if injury permits, and he’s a contender for the Young Player of The Season if he continues this way.

3. Martin Ødegaard

For analysts to predict a possible return to the Santiago Bernabeu for Martin Ødegaard, it shows how big the Norwegian has grown as Arsenal’s skipper.

For two consecutive seasons, he’s driven Arteta’s men towards the title, and this season, a possible last-four finish in the UCL is in the mix.

There is no that the young captain is already one to the top midfielders in football.

Six goals and six assists in 25 Premier League games are his contributions to the team, but he also big his leadership style and big team mentality to the team. He remains one of the best and top 5 midfielders in the league.

4. Erling Haaland

There’s no way this compilation can be complete without the addition of the Norwegian striker.

Goalkeepers, defenders, and injuries have all tried but couldn’t stop him. The Man City number 9 is still a force to be reckoned in the Premier League and beyond.

Admittedly, Haaland’s numbers this season are far shy of his recording-breaking first season due to injury, but he’s done 18 goals and five assists in 23 Premier League seasons and a big drive in Manchester City’s title charge.

5. Bukayo Saka

Three seasons straight, and everyone has agreed that Bukayo Saka is world-class in his position, albeit with expected disagreements here and there. He is one of the best wingers in the world, no doubt.

To be compared to Mohammed Salah is one thing, but to be consistent with Mohammed Salah in the last three seasons is another.

The quality hasn’t diminished after he won the 2022/23 PFA Young Player of the Year award.

He is spearheading Arsenal’s title charge again this season, and he may just land the senior PFA prize this season.

Saka has shown he can score from anywhere and take on any winger, and perhaps, despite a dip in December, that’s why he’s notched 13 goals and eight assists in 27 league matches.

6. Mohammed Salah

The Egyptian forward’s time in the Premier League may be winding down, but he doesn’t look like he’s dropping in quality and effectiveness.

Salah was distracted by a huge money interest from the Saudi league, which was turned down by Liverpool, but his numbers haven’t waned at all. He’s on course for double-digit goals and assists, as he always does.

Fifteen goals and nine assists for Salah, and he’s driving Liverpool’s title charge in Jurgen Klopp’s final season in charge.

7. Ollie Watkins

For a lot of Aston Villa fans Ollie Watkins has sold himself to bigger club sides by the summer with an impressive season that has seen him drive Villa to uncharted waters under Unai Emery.

The 28-year-old has 10 assists and 16 goals in 29 Premier League matches for Aston Villa, who remains in fourth position and on course to finish the league in European places and possibly a last-four finish in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Ollie Watkins has gradually cemented his status as one of the best strikers in world following his exploits for Villa this season.

8. Ross Barkley

For the first time in a long time, midfielder Ross Barkley has been repeatedly discussed as deserving of a place in the Three Lions team for his performances for the relegation strugglers this season.

Luton Town may be in the final relegation spot, but their performances have been impressive as they held on well against more luxurious teams in the league.

A paltry four goals and three assists in the Premier League all season long may look unconvincing, but his work rate and energy have been pivotal for the Hatters, and the 30-year-old could get a last shot at a big team with Manchester United interested.

9. Guglielmo Vicario

Tottenham were one of the worst-hit teams during the summer transfer window with the loss of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich and the exit of Hugo Lloris, but while the former is a difficult shoe to fill, the replacement for the other has lived up to expectations.

The 27-year-old from lowly Empoli in Seria A has stepped up on the bigger stage, showing that he’s not out of place as one of the best goalkeepers in the league.

Eighty-two saves and six clean sheets in 28 Premier League games for a newcomer isn’t bad at all and one of the best buys by any Premier League team by far.

10. Son Heung-Min

Heung-Min Son best wingers in the world LONDON, ENGLAND - AUGUST 19: Heung-Min Son of Tottenham Hotspur celebrates following the team's victory during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on August 19, 2023 in London, England.

Perhaps Tottenham knew that they had the needed replacement for Harry Kane, and Son Heung-Min has stood up along with James Maddison, Brennan Johnson, and Richarlison to fill that huge shoe.

Fourteen goals and eight assists are the numbers he’s chalked up, and he continues to lead by example for the North Londoners, although they fell so fast from their early title charge.

The Premier League allows you to enjoy watching your favourite matches and make a lot of money. The ideal place is a special resource, there are many casinos without ID in the UK, albeit not advisable, that accept all sorts of predictions for future league matches.
