The 2021/22 Bundesliga season will be the 59th season of the German top flight. It will begin on the 13th of August 2021 and end on the 14th of May 2022.
Last season, Bayern Munich won the league for the 30th time (9th consecutive title).
Unlike in most of the major leagues in the world, 18 teams compete in the Bundesliga, which means only two teams get relegated, and another two will replace them from the 2.Bundesliga (2nd division).
Last season, two heavyweights (Werder Bremen and Schalke 04) shockingly got relegated, while VfL Bochum and Greuther Furth got promoted.
Here, we take a look at the two newly promoted teams for the 2021/22 Bundesliga season.
