1. Unveiled as Arsenal Manager
On 22 September 1996, Wenger was unveiled as Arsenal football club’s manager.
Wenger officially assumed the role on 1 October 1996.
2. Winning the double in 1998
In 1998, Arsene Wenger’s became the seventh English team to win the League and FA Cup in the same season. Arsenal managed to edge out Manchester United in the Premier league and beat Newcastle in the cup final.
3. Winning the double again in 2002
Yes, Arsene Wenger won the Premier League double twice. Former striker, Sylvain Wiltord scored the winning goal against Manchester United to secure the club’s 12th Premier League trophy. Arsenal also beat Chelsea 2–0 in the 2002 FA Cup Final. This team was Wenger’s most potent team. They scored in every single league fixture and were unbeaten away from home that season.
4. Knocking out AC Milan in San Siro
In the 2007/2008 Champions League, Arsenal shocked the world by eliminating defending champions AC Milan at San Siro. This was definitely one of Arsene Wenger’s best moments in Arsenal. In the first leg, they held AC Milan to a 0-0 draw. Then in the second leg, they overcame AC Milan with 2 goals to nil, with goals coming from Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor.
5. Defeating Real Madrid at the Bernabeu
Another great moment in his career was just when Arsenal became the first English team to win Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. A spectacular goal from Thierry Henry two minutes after halftime was enough to secure a famous victory in Madrid. Arsenal went on to qualify 15 days later after playing a 0-0 draw.

10. His sending off
