The Liverpool number 1 has been a fantastic last line of defense for the Reds, with his commanding presence and crucial game-rescuing saves.

Allison last campaign only conceded 24 times in 35 matches, one of the lowest in the league. His impressive performances helped the Reds finish second.

Ederson Santana de Moraes or Ederson, as he is simply known, is arguably the best goalkeeper in the EPL. Apart from his shot-stopping ability and confidence on the ball, the Brazilian international also pops up from time to time to make crucial last-ditch saves.

The last campaign was no different for the 28-year-old, who only let in 26 goals from 37 matches. His impressive form at the back propelled his team Manchester City as they claimed another EPL title.

The Cityzens goal will be hoping for another dominant season in 2022/2023, and will be relying on the ball-playing abilities of Ederson.

4. David De Gea

The Spaniard was at his imperial best, making crucial incredible saves that more often than not kept his team in games they should have been thoroughly beaten.

Despite his best efforts, the 31-year-old still conceded 32 goals in 26 matches as he was unable to prevent United from finishing 6th.

The Spanish goalie will be hoping for another great season on an individual note that will translate to overall team success.

5. Hugo Lloris

The French goalkeeper is a very experienced and accomplished shot-stopper. Hugo Lloris has been one of the best goalkeepers in the EPL for years now.

The Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper has continued to maintain his consistency and high levels of performance, which have helped stop his side from conceding too many goals.

Lloris let in 40 goals in 38 games last campaign, which helped his club finish in the 4th position securing Champions League football for last season. Hugo will be hoping for another solid season this term.
