With barely five matches to go before the Nigerian Professional Football League ends, we look at the top teams and their chances of winning the Nigerian League title. And with current champions Enugu Rangers, 16 points behind current table toppers Plateau United, it looks like we will have a new NPFL league winner! So, who will win win the NPFL 2017 season?

Plateau United sit comfortably at the top of the NPFL table, deservedly. They currently have the longest home win run in the
NPFL, which is 9 (along with Enyimba and Wikki Tourist). Plateau United also currently have the most points from home matches in the NPFL (along with MFM). They have have produced strings of impressive display this season and look set win the Nigerian Premier League title. Of course they need to win or draw their potential title decider against MFM. Mountain of Fire Ministries Football Club have blew everyone away this season, with great goals, and amazing players like potential golden boot winner, Stephen Odey. They have been very good in their home and away matches (well, except for that 4-0 thrashing at Ifeanyi Ubah). Nevertheless, they seat second in the league table, three points behind leaders Plateau united. They NEED to win their next match against Plateau United, away if they are to stand a chance.
