After a dismal start to the Premier season and a lacklustre performance by the club at the Champions League, Manchester United have sacked head coach Jose Mourinho. His sacking came after a 3-1 loss to Liverpool.

Today we will look at 14 possible coaches who could replace Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
1. Zidane
The first on the list is none other than the three-time Champions League winner. Zidane is a top achiever. He has achieved success at every level and Manchester will need someone like him, at the helm in their team.
Zidane became one of the most sort after coach in Europe after he decided to quit Real Madrid a few months ago.
2. Michael Carrick
Michael Carrick is currently the one in charge at United on an interim basis. He could be made a permanent replacement for Mourinho if he performs well.
3. Mauricio Pochettino
The Tottenham gaffer has become a Premier League phenomenon. After turning Tottenham Hotspur into a Champions League regular and a team that can challenge for the English Premier League crown, he is highly sought after.
It is left to be seen if he’ll be the one in charge at the club, but right now he’s on the list.
4. Antonio Conte
The former Chelsea boss was a Premier League winner at his first season at Chelsea. This is a trophy that has eluded the Red Devils for many years.
5. Laurent Blanc
Laurent Blanc is a coach with great leadership skills. That is what Manchester United has lacked in their team since Alex Ferguson left. The Frenchman and former manager of Paris Saint-Germain could be called to fill the position.
6. Leonardo Jardim
The former Monaco coach and Portuguese is another name on the list of coaches that will take the reigns at United.
7. Massimiliano Allegri
The Juventus coach will be another name on Ed Woodward’s list. It will be difficult to tempt him out if his current club though.
8. Eddie Howe
Eddie Howe is the current manager of Premier League club AFC Bournemouth. He has achieved a considerable amount of success at Bournemouth and might be a shock name to take over at United.
9. Diego Simeone
Diego Simeone has been loyal to Athletico Madrid despite interests from so many clubs. However, that might change if he receives a solid interest from Manchester United. He is a coach who will add a lot of hard work and value to the team.
10. Didier Deschamps
The World Cup winner will look like the perfect replacement for Mourinho in Manchester United. He is a proven winner and could be the one to bring out the best in their talisman, Paul Pogba.
11. Ryan Giggs
Ryan Giggs has been part of the United coaching staff a few years. He is currently the coach of the Welsh national team. He could be the one to handle the team.
12. Arsene Wenger
After his decision to leave Arsenal this year, it is possible that Arsene Winger could return to coach a club he had always admired.
13. Gareth Southgate
Gareth Southgate is another possible replacement for Mourinho. He has proven his managerial ability with the way he leads England to a third-place finish the FIFA World Cup in 2018. He already knows most of the players in the squad and could be the one to bring out the best in them.
14. Paul Scholes
Paul Scholes is a Manchester United legend; he won 11 Premier League titles and two Champions League titles with the club. He has always criticized Jose Mourinho’s tactics and player selection. He has worked with the youth team for some time and has been part of the coaching team at United. Paul Scholes could be a possible replacement for Mourinho.
15. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
The Norwegian coach and another former Manchester United legend is also on the list of coaches who could replace Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
