4. Mats Hummels – Borussia Dortmund
The 31-year-old veteran has also been in The Thick of It this season. The 2014 World Cup winner since his return to former club BVB Dortmund has also posted great performances in this campaign. The German International has roughly won 65% of the duels he contested for during all the matches he played.
5. Jonathan Tah – Bayer Leverkusen
Another Bayern Leverkusen player who has been very good this season is Jonathan Tah. The 24-year-old has formed a solid defensive partnership with Sven Bender conceding just 30 goals this season.
