The 2023/24 European football season has kicked off, with lots of excitement here and there. With an average of 9, 10, or 11 matches played, some teams have remained unbeaten in their respective leagues.
Going through an entire season is extremely difficult in modern times. Arsenal (2003/04) and Juventus (2011/12) are the only clubs in Europe’s major leagues to have registered historical “Invincible” campaigns this century.
Many of the football clubs that are still unbeaten in Europe this 2023/24 season will hope to go into the January transfer window without losing a league game.

1. Tottenham Hotspurs
Ange Postecoglou has really transformed Tottenham, who remain unbeaten after 9 rounds of matches in the English Premier League.
The London-based soccer team are mounting a strong EPL title challenge and could finally land a trophy soon.
Spurs have won 23 points out of a possible 27 and sit comfortably on top of the EPL table.
2. Arsenal
Arsenal almost won the Premier League title last season, only to bottle it towards the end of the season.
Mikel Arteta’s side have come back stronger this campaign and are currently unbeaten.
The Gunners proved their mettle in their latest match against Chelsea, coming back from two goals down to draw the game at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal currently sit 3rd on the Premier League standings with 21 points, just two points behind early pace-setters Tottenham.
3. Barcelona
After 10 rounds of matches in the Spanish La Liga, defending champions Barcelona still remain unbeaten.
But the Blaugranas sit in third place on the table, behind Real Madrid and surprise packages, Girona.
4. Bayer Leverkusen
With 8 rounds of matches gone so far in the German Bundesliga, three teams remain unbeaten.
The first of the three are league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, who have amassed 22 points out of a possible 24!
Xabi Alonso’s side only dropped points in their draw against Bayern Munich.
5. Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich are also undefeated so far but sit third on the Bundesliga table on 20 points, behind Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart.
They are one of the best soccer teams in the world and are proving that by remaining unbeaten this season so far.
It remains to be seen whether Thomas Tuchel’s men will be able to wrest back the first place, especially with Harry Kane in their ranks.
6. Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund are fourth in the Bundesliga, sitting one place behind Bayern Munich but on the same number of points (20) with the Bavarians.
7. OGC Nice
Surprisingly, the only team that is yet to taste defeat in the French Ligue 1 this season is not PSG. That honour belongs to OGC Nice.
Nice are currently second on the log, trailing AS Monaco by just a single point.
8. Sporting Lisbon
Sporting Lisbon are still unbeaten after 8 rounds of matches in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
The league leaders have 22 points out of a possible 24!
9. PSV Eindhoven
Like in the German Bundesliga, three teams are also unbeaten in the Dutch Eredivisie — after nine games played.
The first team is PSV, who sit atop the table with 27 points — meaning they haven’t dropped any single point so far either by losing or even drawing!!
10. AZ Alkmaar
The second unbeaten side in the Eredivisie is AZ Alkmaar.
They sit second on the table with 25 points out of a possible 27, having drawn only one game.
11. Feyenoord
Feyenoord are the 3rd unbeaten club in the Dutch league and occupy third place on the table on 23 points — behind PSV and AZ Alkmaar.
Shockingly, out of the 18 teams in the Dutch Eredivisie, giants Ajax are 17th! They have won only a single game, drew 2, and have lost 4!
12. Sturm Graz
In the Austrian Bundesliga, Sk Sturm Graz are unbeaten, sitting on top of the table above RB Salzburg.
After 11 fixtures, Sturm Graz have 27 points of out of a possible 33.
13. Fenerbahce
Two teams are also unbeaten in the Turkish Super Lig. The first is Fenerbahce, who sits comfortably on top of the pile.
Fenerbahce have played 9 matches and have amassed a whopping 27 points without drawing or losing any game!!!
14. Galatasaray
Galatasaray are behind Fenerbahce in second place in the Turkish league, with 25 points having drawn a game.
15. Celtic
With 9 rounds of matches played so far in the Scottish Premiership, defending champions, Celtic, are on top of the table.
Celtic have earned 25 points, having drawn a game and winning 8.
16. Zurich FC
In the Swiss Super League of Switzerland, 11 rounds of games have been played.
Zurich FC leads the table unbeaten but have only won 6 matches, drawing 5.
