The Italian Serie A is considered one of the most competitive and best league competitions in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n This will be its 122nd edition when the first round of matches kicks off on 20th August 2023 this summer. <\/span><\/p>\n The 2023\/2024 season will see 20 teams battle it out for various league positions.<\/span><\/p>\n Spezia, Cremonese, and Sampdoria were relegated from Serie A after spending three, one, and eleven years respectively in the top flight.<\/p>\n They were replaced by Frosinone<\/strong>, Genoa<\/strong>, and Cagliari <\/strong>\u2014 who are the newly promoted Serie A teams for the 2023\/24 season.
